A premix is an intermediate product in production of goods from dispersedly filled polymer composites, which corresponds to a pasty mixture of a liquid thermoreactive binding substance (usually an unsaturated polyester resin), chopped strands (usually chopped glass strands), a mineral dispersion filler and different additives.
Fillers are substances or materials which are added into the composition of polymer composites with the purpose of modification of their operating ability, facilitation of processing, as well as cost reduction. They are principally inorganic or organic solids of natural (mineral or plant) or artificial origin.
