Geogrids PS-Poliset are polymer grids consisting of two systems of polymer yarns knit together by a third knitting polymer yarn. Impregnation is done with binding substances on the basis of polyvinylchlorides.
|
The raw material for production of these Geogrids is polyester fibre. These geogrids are used as a reinforcing (separation) interlayer under the bearing course of the subbase of road pavement made of a granular material (crushed rock or gravel). Application of a reinforcing (separation) interlayer allows to prolong the life of the construction, to increase its shear resistance and serviceability, to reduce the thickness of the layers, to prevent rutting, to significantly decrease penetration of the granular material of the subbase into the underlying dirt layer, both during building and during operation.
In reinforcing of the slope part of a mound with crossing of the supposed failure surface geogrids PS-Poliset take up a part of tensile stresses increasing the general stability of slopes in a severe building environment.
