Materials made of glass fibre possess unique indicators of weight strength and stiffness, as well as endurance fracture resistance, which allows to apply them in production of critical parts and elements of constructions to which exclusive standards are applied.

Reinforced plastics are composites on the basis of a polymer binding substance (matrix) and a reinforcing filler of a fibre pattern. Heat-convertible resins and engineering thermoplastics are used as binding substances. Inorganic and organic fibre materials in the form of monofilament yarns, complex yarns, short (discontinuous) fibres, tows, fabrics, felts and single crystal filaments serve as fillers.
