Wind Energy

Wind Energy is a branch of science and engineering developing the theory, methods and means of use of wind energy in order to generate mechanical, electrical and thermal power and determining the spheres and scope of sensible use of wind energy in the National Economy.

Wind Energy

Wind Energy consists of two main parts: Wind Engineering developing the theory and process-oriented design of technical means (aggregations and units) and Wind Use including theoretical and practical issues of optimum utilisation of wind energy, rational exploitation of units and their technical-and-economic indicators and pooling of the experience of application of the units in the National Economy.

Reinforced Plastics

Reinforced plastics are composites on the basis of a polymer binding substance (matrix) and a reinforcing filler of a fibre pattern. Heat-convertible resins and engineering thermoplastics are used as binding substances. Inorganic and organic fibre materials in the form of monofilament yarns, complex yarns, short (discontinuous) fibres, tows, fabrics, felts and single crystal filaments serve as fillers.
